Quick Access Toolbar

This Office Snippet explains how to customise the Quick Access Toolbar.

Be honest – have you used it? Did you think there was only a Save and Undo button available? As it only appeared in Office 2007 version onwards, unless you’ve had proper training, you may not have even noticed it!

By taking a few minutes to customise your Quick Access Toolbar in each of the Microsoft Office packages you use regularly, you will save SO much time. Currently you’re probably hunting through each of the ribbons until you find the command you want, which can be really time consuming.

At the end of this video, I forgot to mention that you can also choose to “Show Quick Access Toolbar Below the Ribbon” by right clicking over it. That’s my personal preference as it’s easy to forget about it when it’s tucked away in the top left hand corner.

Imagine what you can do with all that time you’ve saved … more work perhaps?!
